Kicker: something to grab attention.

Used to cost 80p but now a copy of the daily mirror cost 90p.

It educates us about the royal family.
for example it tells us that there mum died and harry and Megan want to leave the royal family but the audience doesn't want that to happen because harry might break his relationship with his brother. It also gives us a surprise that if your not vaccinated you cant go to school which is also a amplitude.

This is because interesting photos are more likely to grab customers attention then long worded paragraphs.

a reader might enjoy the daily mirror because it has famous people the audience follow like the royal family. this interests the audience because they like to review what is has been going on in their lives.

news papers are generally read by older audience because they are stuck in their generation whereas younger audience read the news online.

this appeals to a lot of daily mirror reader because most the audience do follow their lifestyle.
